American Idol Season 11 auditions has definitely become tamer. The absence of the crazies with their bizarre and outrageous costumes is again missed felt on the Denver, Colorado audition. Even when they film the crowd, there are no silly Superman or Chicken costumed people around… Some are not liking the change but we’d rather have this than see them step back to their old corny ways.
Only 31 people made it to Hollywood on this audition.
The “winner” for this round for us is 17 year old Shelby Tweten, who had an inspiring backstory, a pretty face and a voice to complete the package! She made us feel something! (Thank you, Shelby. That’s been missing since the last 3 auditions. Hope you continue on with your dream even if you don’t make it this year!)
